Do not take Caverta 50 mg if you are allergic to sildenafil citrate, or you have bleeding disorders. Tell your doctor straight away if you have a history of heart disease and coronary heart disease (CHD).  Do not take medicine with a high-fat meal. Please inform your doctor if you take any other medication while using Caverta.

The common side effects associated with Caverta 50 mg are an abnormal vision, back pain, upset stomach, dizziness, flushing, and muscle pain. In case of the following side effects, stop taking your sexual health pill and bring it to the attention of your health care specialist. Symptoms of a heart attack that includes chest pain, pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder accompanied by nausea and sweating. Other side effects include vision changes or sudden loss of eyesight, a painful erection that lasts longer for more than four hours.  This is not the complete list of side effects that may trouble you. Take one tablet an hour before you plan for sex. Do not take it more than once a day. If you are older than 65 years or have severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, your health care specialist may start you at the lowest dose of the sildenafil citrate. Take the tablet with a glass of water. Ideally, the medicine will take 30 to 60 minutes to dissolve into the bloodstream. The medicine works when you take it an hour before performing sexual intercourse. The effects last for four hours and it began its activity within half an hour. The effects could decrease if you consume high-calorie food one hour before or after taking the tablet. It is less likely to miss a dose of Caverta as the medicine needs to be taken an hour before sexual activity.
