Alzheimer\u2019s disease is the reason behind dementia which is a continuous decline of thinking, behavioural and social skills. There are six pillars for prevention of Alzheimer\u2019s disease and dementia, and here prevention means preventing it from getting worse. These six pillars are exercise, social engagement, healthy diet, mental stimulation, proper sleep and stress management. If these things are adequately maintained, the person with Alzheimer\u2019s disease will stay stronger with a healthy brain and more likely there will be less chance of your Alzheimer\u2019s disease getting converted to dementia. Solve puzzles, games and riddles, and this strengthens the cognitive ability of the brain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Points to keep in mind for people with Alzheimer\u2019s disease<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Start doing exercise slowly and steadily and then work your way up<\/li>\n<li>Warm-up is very important before the exercise<\/li>\n<li>Do those exercises in which the people with Alzheimer\u2019s disease are comfortable<\/li>\n<li>Do those exercise which the patient enjoys so that they can stick with it<\/li>\n<li>Sleeping for 8 hours is very healthy and useful for brain health<\/li>\n<li>Stop smoking and drinking as they can fasten the deteriorating process<\/li>\n<li>Keep your weight in control<\/li>\n<li>Manage your blood pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Exercise induce beneficial cognitive effects in people with Alzheimer\u2019s. There are growing evidence that shows a relation between Alzheimer\u2019s and exercise. However, more research is needed to know at what degreed does physical activity improve memory and slows the progression of Alzheimer\u2019s disease.
