Nasacort AQ nasal spray drug contains Triamcinolone, is an adrenocortical steroid drug which inhibits the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It is available as a topical drug or a nasal spray form. The nasal spray is used to heal nasal allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching, or runny nose caused by seasonal allergies or hay fever. It is normally given only a short-term treatment of a severe or extreme episode. The drug may also be provided for treatment no listed above. Nasacort AQ nasal spray is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid drug that is an inverse agonist at all the histamine H1 receptor. It rapidly provides relief following administration.
Do not take this drug if you are allergic to this drug or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, re pregnant, are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed, have any recent heart surgery, have myasthenia gravis, have Diverticulitis, or have liver disease.
Triamcinolone can reduce the level of white blood cells significantly in your body, thereby decreasing your immunity. This can lead to increased risk of infections when you are exposed to infectious agents. Hence you must avoid being near sick people. Seek preventive treatment if exposed to chickenpox or measles. These diseases can be severe or even fatal in people who are taking steroids.
