Levolin respules 1.25mg/2.5ml is used in the treatment and improvement of the following symptoms, conditions, and diseases:

     —   Constriction of airways

     —   Asthma

     —   Lung inflammation

The medicine is inhaled through a rotahaler and works by relaxing the muscles and widening the airways. As a result, breathing becomes easier, and asthma symptoms, such as wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness, are reduced. Levolin respule is prescribed to treat an acute attack of asthma characterized by sudden breathing difficulties. Your doctor may prescribe another inhaler (preventer) to prevent your symptoms.

Also, avoid using the medication if you have a history of premature labour and miscarriage. There is limited information available about the safety of Levosalbutamol during pregnancy. It should only be used by pregnant ladies only if your doctor advises you so. It is still not known if the medication passes into breast milk. Hence, it would help if you avoid breastfeeding while receiving Levolin. If you have doubts about using Levosalbutamol during breastfeeding, please talk to your doctor.

Intake of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages during the treatment may increase the risk of side effects. Smoking is strictly prohibited since it is known to worsen breathing disorders. Speak to your doctor if you have heart-related problems, thyroid problems,  low potassium levels in your blood, an infection in your lungs, or diabetes.
