Eptus 25 mg is used to lower high blood pressure. Eplerenone is the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in Eptus Tablets. Eplerenone belongs to a group of medicines called aldosterone antagonists. Generally, this medication is used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat high blood pressure. Eplerenone is also used to manage moderate to severe congestive heart failure after a heart attack. It increases the amount of urine that is passed out from the kidneys. Eptus cause a reduction in excess fluid levels in the body and the heart's workload, making it more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Thus, lowering elevated blood pressure reduces the risk of future heart attack, stroke, or angina.
