Zocon eye drops 5 ml is a prescription antifungal ophthalmic medication for patients with fungal infection of the eye. It has Fluconazole as the active ingredient which works by inhibiting the growth of fungi in the eye and helps destroy the infection. This cause alleviation of symptoms associated with the fungal eye infection, including pain, irritation, and inflammation. Note that the ophthalmic solution is only effective against fungal infections and will work against viral or bacterial infection. Fluconazole is available in the form of eye drops for treating fungal infections caused by susceptible strains of candida.
Before using Zocon eye drops, inform your doctor about the current that you have been using, including vitamins and herbal supplements. Also, notify your ophthalmologist about the pre-existing disease, allergies, and current health conditions. Some health condition may increase your likelihood of developing adverse effects. Tell your ophthalmologist if your eye condition worsens. Please do not use Fluconazole eye drops without consulting your ophthalmologist. Zocon eye drops 5 ml may cause irritation or burning sensation immediately after application. However, most side effects associated with the usage of ophthalmic Fluconazole are temporary and usually disappears after sometimes. Notify your ophthalmologist if any of these side effects persist or stays for a longer duration.

Use the medicine regularly for best effects. Be sure to remove contact lenses before applying for the antifungal ophthalmic drugs. After the application closes the eye for about a minute. Always finish the course to make sure the symptoms are eliminated. You may experience stinging sensation 1 to 2 minutes after application. Notify your ophthalmologist if the adverse effects persist for a longer duration.
