Aristu Anastrozole Tab 1 mg is a prescription medicine for the treatment of breast cancer in women who have finished menopause. It contains the active ingredient Anastrazole, which belongs to a group of drugs known as aromatase inhibitors. Some breast cancers are known to grow rapidly with the support of the estrogen hormone. The medicine blocks the action of the aromatase enzyme in the body to cut down the number of certain oestrogen hormones that your body makes. This reverses the growth of breast cancer in women. Your doctor may prescribe this drug either as a monotherapy or in conjunction with other treatments such as radiation, surgery to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women.

Before taking Aristu Anastrozole 1 mg, mention your physician if you still have menstrual periods or have any renal insufficiency. Also, your doctor should be aware of all the medications that you have been using for other medical conditions as these medicines can make Anastrozole less effective or change the way it works to decrease the amount of estrogen in the body. Tell your health care specialist of your pregnancy status, or if you are a breastfeeding mother. Your health care provider will monitor you closely for vitamin D levels and bone density. For this, he/she can perform several blood tests.

The most common side effects of Anastrozole 1 mg are skin rash, headaches, loss of appetite, osteoporosis, hot flushes, and osteoporosis. If any of these bothers you or become serious, immediately inform your health care provider. Your health care specialist may tell you ways of reducing and preventing them. The medicine may lower the mineral content of your bones. This may make your bone weak or more likely to fracture. So, be in touch with your health care specialist if you notice symptoms of severe deficiency in your body. Your health care provider will manage your bone health as per the treatment guidelines provided for women who have gone through the menopause.

Always take Anastrozole Tab 1 mg exactly as your health care specialist asked you to. Your doctor may ask you to take it with or without food. The dose of the drug depends on your condition. Your health care specialist will decide how much your body requires to improve the symptoms. The medicine is available in the form of a tablet that you can swallow with a glass of water at any time of the day. Usually, health care specialists recommend it as one tablet once a day. Keep on taking it for as long as your health care provider tells you to. The breast cancer drug is a long-term commitment, and you need to take it for several years.
