Duvadilan Retards 40mg

Duvadilan retards 40 mg should not be stopped abruptly without talking to the doctor, as the kit may lead to unwanted side effects. Tell your doctor if you have any bleeding diseases or heart problems before initiating treatment with this vasodilator drug. Avoid doing strenuous activities during premature labour.

The capsules should not be given to people who are allergic to Isoxsuprine, have low blood pressure, or have a bleeding problem. The vasodilator drug may interact with some medicines, so it should be used with caution when used with certain antibiotics(rifampicin, erythromycin, and clarithromycin), anti-hypertensives (simvastatin, lovastatin, diltiazem, atorvastatin), anti-migraine (dihydroergotamine, ergotamine),  sedatives, antidepressants (lithium and fluoxetine), medicines to lower blood pressure, antiparkinson’s drugs (pramipexole,  levodopa, ropinirole), and antiepileptic agents (carbamazepine,  rifampicin,  phenobarbital, and phenytoin).

Duvadilan retards should be used with caution in people with low blood pressure, a bleeding problem, especially arterial bleeding, have any heart problems. Studies suggest that it is safe and does not harm the baby. Drive with caution, as the vasodilator drug may cause blurry vision and dizziness may occur.   

Dizziness is the most common side effect associated with the use of Duvadilan retards capsules. If this bothers you or appears serious, inform your doctor. To reduce the chance of dizziness, you must stand slowly if getting up from a sitting or a lying position or avoid driving or activities that requires complete attention.        

Swallow the capsule whole with water without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. The capsules can be taken before or after consuming food. The doctor will decide the dose and duration, depending on the cause you prescribed to take it for.
