Ivermerc 6 mg is an anti-parasitic medication that treats infection by causing paralysis and death. It contains the active ingredient Ivermectin, which helps treat many parasitic infections of your intestinal tract, skin, and eyes. Anti-parasitic medicine belongs to a family of anthelmintics that effectively treat various infections caused by parasites, including strongyloidiasis and control onchocerciasis. This parasitic infection can affect the quality of life and lead to life-threatening conditions.
Strongyloidiasis is an intestinal infection caused by roundworm. It can live and reproduce in your intestine for many years without symptoms. However, it can be deadly in people with a weak immune system. Symptoms include a rash, a cough, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, red hives near the manus, constipation, upper abdominal burning, or pain.
Onchocerciasis, commonly known as river blindness, is transmitted to humans through exposure to repeated bites of infected blackflies.
The anti-parasitic drug usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking medicine and complete the full course of treatment.
The symptoms usually improve within two to three days after taking Ivermerc tablet. If there is no improvement within seven days of treatment, consult your doctor right away.
Ivermerc 6 mg is not recommended in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless necessary. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. This medicine should be used with caution in patients having a liver disorder. Talk to your doctor before taking medicine, especially if you:

You should avoid consuming alcohol while on treatment with Ivermerc anti-parasitic drug as it can worsen the side effects of the medicine. The anti-parasitic drug may make you feel dizzy and sleepy, thus avoid driving after taking medicine.
You should inform your doctor if you are using prescription medicine, non-prescription drugs, vitamins, herbal supplements, or other nutritional supplements. Inform your doctor if you are previously diagnosed with meningitis or HIV. Contact your doctor right away if you experience blurred vision, trouble walking, seizures, or neck pain.
Most side effects do not require medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the anti-parasitic drug. Consult your doctor if they persist or become bothersome. Common side effects of Ivermectol are liver disease, confusion, headache, redness of eyes, sweating or fever, unusual weakness, muscle pain, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain.
Rarely, a patient may experience an allergic reaction with Ivermerc. The symptoms include itching, skin rash, sudden fever, and difficulty breathing.
Your doctor will explain how to take Ivermerc 6 mg and how much you need. Read the instructions carefully for an appropriate drug’s usage. Take Ivermectol formulation on an empty stomach, at least one hour before the meals. Take medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight, and severity of the parasitic infection. Continue to take medicine as long as your doctor advises you to obtain better results.
