Korandil 5 mg provide symptomatic relief from angina pectoris in patients who are inadequately controlled or intolerance to first-line anti-anginal agents such as calcium antagonists and beta-blockers. The active ingredient Nicorandil falls into the category of drugs known as potassium channel activators. Which helps prevent or reduce painful signs of angina pectoris. It is useful for adults who cannot take heart medicines like beta-blockers or calcium antagonists. Nicorandil tablets increase the blood flow through the blood vessels of the heart. It enhances the blood and oxygen supply to your heart and reduces its workload. Taking korandil tablet regularly reduces your risk of further heart complications. It’s usual to take medicine twice daily with water. Common side effects of the drug include headache and feeling dizzy. The medication is suitable for adults aged 18 and over. It may not be suitable for some people, let your health care specialist know about your previous allergies and medical conditions.

Precautions

Some medicines may interfere with the way Korandil medicine works. Some medications can reduce your blood pressure when used in combination with Nicorandil tablets. This may make you feel dizzier.
