Montair chewable tablets 4 mg are used for the treatment of asthmas add on therapy in patients who 2 to 5 years are old those who have mild to moderate asthma. The chewable tablets are also indicated for the prevention of asthma in patients of two years of age or older in which the symptoms develop due to exercise. The active ingredient of the medicine is Montelukast sodium which can also be used as an alternative to low dose inhaled corticosteroid for 2 to 5 years old patients with mild asthma who do not have a history of severe asthma attacks that requires oral corticosteroid use.
