Do not drink beer, wine, or liquor until you finish your TB treatment. Drinking alcohol during the treatment can hurt your liver. Let your doctor know about all medications that you have been using. Use effective contraceptive methods, such as condoms, to prevent pregnancy. R-cin can make contraceptive pills less effective. Speak to your doctor right away if you become pregnant. Do not stop taking Rcin without having a word with your doctor, as doing so may cause your symptoms to return or worsen.

A lot of people take R cin without a problem. Some people do have problems such as:

  — Nausea, vomiting that doesn’t stop

  — Upset stomach or pain abdomen

  — Dark urine

  — Fever for more than there days

  — Skin rash or itching

  — Poor appetite or feeling tired

  — Yellow skin or eyes

  — Numb or tingling hands or feet

If you develop any of these issues, please stop taking the medication and consult your doctor.

Take your R-cin as often and as your doctor tells you. Taking this medicine without food is best. If your stomach is upset, it is fine to take your antibiotic medicine with a small amount of food or take it before you sleep. If you do not take R-can, miss too many days, or stop taking medicine before your doctor tells you to, you may become sick with active TB. It is important to destroy TB so you and your family stay healthy.
