Sotalol 40 mg is a prescription treatment for certain types of irregular heartbeat. It comprises of Sotalol hydrochloride, which is being categorized under the drug class beta-blockers. The medicine is effective against the bacterial infections affected the heart and associated organs. Sotalol slows down your heart rate and allows your heart to pump more blood. The medicine is recommended for adults and children over the age of twelve years. The anti-arrhythmias drug is not suitable for everyone, so it is important to use it under the supervision of a doctor.
