Budecort respules is used to maintain asthma and as preventive therapy in children twelve months to eight years of age. It is ineffective in relieving symptoms associated with acute bronchospasm or other acute asthma episodes.

Before taking Budecort respules, you should inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, infections in your mouth, lungs, or liver disease. While taking this medicine, you may be more at risk of getting infections, so it is important to maintain distance from people with colds and flu if you have used the product for a long time. It may cause weak bones and cause damage to your eyes. You may require tests for bone density and eye pressure. Talk to your doctor if it is safe to use this medicine during pregnancy.

The most common side effects are trouble swallowing, irritation in the throat and fungal infections in the mouth or throat. If you develop any of these side effects, do not stop using this medicine, instead, talk to your doctor and follow their advice.

Meanwhile, you can prevent these symptoms by rinsing your mouth and throat with simple water or brushing your teeth after using the nebulizer. There are other rare side effects of Bedecort respules that can be serious. Speak to your doctor if you are concerned about them. You should avoid triggers that bring asthma or worsen your symptoms.

Patients should take Budecort repulses at regular intervals, one or two times a day, as directed by their doctor, since the drug's effectiveness depends on regular use. Patients are advised not to alter the prescribed dosage unless advised to do so by their doctor. Budecort respule is not a bronchodilator and is not intended to treat acute fatal asthma episodes. The respules should be administered with a jet nebulizer connected to a compressor with adequate airflow and equipped with a mouthpiece or suitable face mask. Patients can adjust face masks to optimize delivery and to avoid exposing the eyes to the nebulized condition. Rinsing the mouth with water after each treatment may decrease and cause a significant reduction in the risk of developing local candidiasis.

Improvement in asthmatics can occur within 28 days of initiating the treatment, although maximum benefit may not be achieved for 4 to 6 weeks after beginning treatment. If asthma symptoms do not improve or the condition worsens, the patient should immediately contact his doctor. Care should be taken to avoid exposure to measles and chicken pox. If exposure occurs, and the child has not had chickenpox or been properly vaccinated, consulting a doctor is important.

Note - Budecort respules should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks. If an asthma attack occurs, use your quick-relief inhaler, also known as reliever medicine, as advised by your doctor.
