About the drug:

Fluorouracil is the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in Flonida. Fluorouracil belongs to a group of medicines called anti-metabolites or antineoplastic. This medication is used on the skin to treat pre-cancerous and cancerous skin growth.

Uses of the drug:

Fluorouracil in the form of Flonida Cream is used for the topical treatment of multiple actinic or solar keratoses of the face and anterior scalp. It is also used to treat other conditions such as basal cell carcinomas of the skin, Bowen's disease, it is a type of skin cancer, psoriasis, genital warts and porokeratos is it is an unusual inherited skin condition causing dry patches on the arms and legs.

Before you take the drug:

Do not take the drug if you:

  • Are hypersensitive to this active ingredient Fluorouracilor any other ingredient of the medicine
  • Have the metabolic disorder dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) enzyme deficiency
  • Have poor bone marrow function
  • Are pregnant or planning to be pregnant in the near future
  • Are a breastfeeding woman

Dosage:
