Licab XL 400 mg is useful in relapses in patients with bipolar affective disorder. It helps with mood changes with alternating periods of happiness and depression, aggressiveness, self-harming behaviour, over-excitability, exaggerated emotions, and hypomania. Licab is an extended-release tablet that contains lithium carbonate in 400 mg concentration.
