‒ Have a history of immunosuppression (taking oral corticosteroids, have long-lasting or repeated shingles, or have oral or genital herpes.
‒ Use or need corticosteroids every month.
‒ Need medication to control epilepsy
‒ Use a steroid inhaler regularly.
If the topical formulation has dried on your skin, try applying a small amount of rubbing alcohol to remove it, then wash it off with soap and water. Do not use the medication in the eyes or on any mucous membrane, including the nose, mouth, or vagina.
