Buy Nailrox 8% 5ml (Ciclopirox Olamine) for Skin Care

Nailrox 8% 5ml, containing Ciclopirox nail lacquer, has been shown to be effective in the treatment of mild-to-moderate dermatophyte onychomycosis, a fungal infection of the nail that causes discolouration, brittleness, thickening, and deformation of the nails. If onychomycosis is left untreated, the infection may worsen and spread to the surrounding skin. Ciclopirox solution may be a valuable treatment for early cases of reinfection or relapse. It is indicated as part of a comprehensive nail management plan in immunocompetent patients with mild-to-moderate onychomycosis.

The active ingredient of the medicine, Ciclopirox olamine, is an antifungal agent with potent activity against fungi, yeasts, moulds, and some bacteria. Its broad antifungal coverage makes it a suitable option for treating a variety of fungal nail infections. The Nail lacquer targets fungal infection directly at the nail site. It can reach the nail bed where the fungal infection resides. There, it works by inhibiting fungal growth, eventually leading to the elimination of the infection. The product is easy to apply with minimal mess. With this nail lacquer, there is a lower risk of systemic side effects compared to oral antifungals, and it is suitable for long-term use under medical supervision.

Precautions, warnings, and things to remember while using Ciclopirox olamine topical solution

You must receive detailed instructions from your healthcare specialist on using Nailrox 8% nail lacquer. The nail solution must be used as part of a treatment program for fungal nail infections, which includes regular removal of the unattached nail and daily treatment with Nailrox. One should discuss with their healthcare specialist the regular removal of the lost or infected nail. Before using this topical solution, let your healthcare specialist know if any of the following apply to you:

‒    Are a diabetic who needs insulin injections or has diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes)

‒    Have a history of immunosuppression (taking oral corticosteroids, have long-lasting or repeated shingles, or have oral or genital herpes.

‒    Use or need corticosteroids every month.

‒    Need medication to control epilepsy

‒    Use a steroid inhaler regularly.

If the topical formulation has dried on your skin, try applying a small amount of rubbing alcohol to remove it, then wash it off with soap and water. Do not use the medication in the eyes or on any mucous membrane, including the nose, mouth, or vagina. Wash off with water straight away if you get the nail lacquer in your eyes or any other mucous membrane. Removal of an unattached, infected nail should be performed monthly to achieve optimal results and should be done only by a healthcare professional. If you have diabetes or have issues with numbness in your toes or fingers, speak to your healthcare provider before trimming your infected nails or completely removing any nail. Let your healthcare provider know if you develop redness, itching, a burning sensation, blistering, oozing, or scaling at the application site.

Side effects of Ciclopirox olamine topical solution

Ciclopirox olamine Nailrox 8% topical solution is generally safe and well-tolerated. However, some individuals may develop side effects, including redness, irritation around the nail, burning or stinging sensations, changes in the nail colour or texture, dryness, or peeling of the surrounding skin. Most of these side effects are temporary and usually resolve within a few days with continued use. In case of severe irritation, discontinue treatment immediately and seek immediate medical advice.

Usage instructions of  Ciclopirox olamine topical solution

Use Nailrox 8% as instructed by your healthcare specialist. The medicine is for topical use only. Before starting the treatment, be sure to remove any loose nail pieces. If you have numbness in your toes and have diabetes, talk to your healthcare specialist straight away. Apply the product once daily to all infected nails with an applicator brush. Make sure you apply evenly to the entire infected nail and the surrounding skin. When possible, the topical solution should also be applied to the nail bed and the skin beneath it. Let the solution dry for at least 30 seconds before putting on your socks or stockings.

After applying the nail lacquer, wait at least 8 hours before taking a bath. You need to apply the solution over the previous coat. Once a week, remove the medication with rubbing alcohol, and gently remove as much of the damaged nail as possible using safe tools. If an individual accidentally swallows some of the medication, it is important to seek medical help immediately. Try not to get the medication on any area of your skin. If you accidentally get some of the medication on other parts of your skin, rinse it off with soap and water as soon as you can. The medication may need to be used for up to 48 weeks, along with the regular removal of the lost or infected nail. Generally, it may take up to 6 months of treatment before you notice any improvement in your nails. However, your nail will never be completely clear with this solution.

Do not apply nail polish or other cosmetic products to the treated nails. Do not apply the medication near heat or open flame because the product is flammable and may catch fire easily.
