Nizonide DT 200 mg is an antiparasitic drug that shows excellent efficacy against a wide variety of helminths and protozoa. It is well tolerated when given via the oral route. Patients taking this drug may witness mild gastrointestinal issues which diminish after some time. It is a prescription treatment for giardia intestinalis- induced diarrhoea in patients aged one year or more and cryptosporidium induced diarrhoea in children aged 1 to 11 years.
