Nizonide DT 200 mg is an antiparasitic drug with excellent efficacy against helminths and protozoa. It is well tolerated when given via the oral route. Patients taking this drug may witness mild gastrointestinal issues, which diminish after some time. It is a prescription treatment for giardia intestinalis-induced diarrhea in patients aged one year or more and cryptosporidium-induced diarrhea in children aged 1 to 12.
