Pantocid DSR is used in the treatment, prevention, control and improvement of small intestine ulcer, gastric ulcer, nausea, vomiting. The active ingredients of the drug are Pantoprazole and Domperidone. The combination mainly used in treating small intestine ulcer, esophageal mucosal injury, gastric ulcer, along with several other problems. The medicine works by helping in the digestion process and reducing the amount of acid that is produces in the stomach.

Do not take Pantocid DSR if you are allergic to the main ingredient of the drug or to any other ingredients. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines, are allergic to any other medicines, are above the age of 60, have abnormal salt levels in the body, or have vitamin B12 deficiency and liver disease, or have Clostridium difficult bacteria related colitis, broken bone, atrophic gastritis, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, or are suffering from any ailments. There are certain drugs which may interact with Pantoprazole + Domperidone and increase or decrease the working of the medicine. Hence it is best to tell your doctor about the list of medicines that you are taking currently and also the medicines that you are allergic to so that chances of drug interaction are not there. List of some medicines that may interact are HIV/AIDS medications, ketoconazole, warfarin, and erythromycin.
