Pan 20 mg is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of stomach acid-related problems. It is effective against stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and reflux esophagitis which is a severe form of heartburn. The active ingredient Pantoprazole works by treating the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which include acid reflux and heartburn. GERD is a gastrointestinal problem in which the stomach acid flows back into your oesophagus. Pantoprazole belongs to a group of drugs that are known as proton pump inhibitors (PPI).

Do not take Pan 20 mg tablets if you are allergic to its active ingredient Pantoprazole, or if you are taking rilpivirine.
