Rivaflo 15 mg is a medicine known as anticoagulant medicine, which helps to prevent blood clots. This helps to lower the risk of a heart attack. It is also effective in preventing and treating clot formation in the veins of your lungs, heart, brain, and legs. The medicine has the active ingredient Rivaroxaban which slows down the time it takes for blood to clot and reduces the risk of blockage in an artery.
Do not take Rivaflo 15mg if you have bleeding disorders. Before taking medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have serious kidney or liver disease. Anticoagulant medicine is not recommended in children and adolescents under 18. Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including those you take without a prescription. Some of your medicines can affect the way Rivaroxaban works.
The most common side effects of Rivaflo 10 mg are bleeding in the eyes, gums, nose, stomach, rectum, or vagina. If you experience any severe symptoms, inform your doctor immediately. You should not take Rivaflo if you are currently bleeding or taking other medicines to stop bleeding.
The dose of Rivaflo may vary for different patients. Rivaflo 15 mg must be taken only with meals. Follow the dosing instructions given by your doctor. Do not take more doses of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Your doctor will decide when and how long you should take Rivaroxaban tablets. You may be asked to stop treatment for one or more days before surgery. Individuals with swallowing issues should consult their doctor about other ways to take medicine. If you miss a dose, take it when you remember.
