Rivaflo Tablet 20Mg

Do not take Rivaflo 20 mg if you have certain abnormal bleeding types, kidney disorders or other medical conditions. Speak to your doctor if you have unusual bleeding before taking this medicine. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to Rivaroxaban or any other ingredients present in the medicine. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It is not known if it will harm your unborn baby. Do not breastfeed without discussing it with your doctor. Whether Rivaflo tablet 20mg is safe and works in children is unknown.

Speak to your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal solutions. Especially inform him about ketoconazole, ritonavir, itraconazole, lopinavir, indinavir, phenytoin, rifampin, phenobarbital, carbamazepine, and St. John’s wort.  

The common side effect of Rivaflo is bleeding more easily than normal, for example, having nosebleeds or bruising. If you experience any symptoms,  inform your doctor right away.    

Take the Rivaflo tablet exactly as prescribed. Do not change your dose or discontinue this medicine without first talking to the doctor. He will decide how long you should take Rivaroxaban.

Patients with atrial fibrillation are advised to take Rivaflo once daily with an evening meal. In case of missed doses, patients are advised to take their medicine as soon as possible on the same day and continue the following day with their recommended daily dose regimen. Patients are advised to report unusual bleeding or bruising to their doctor. It might take them longer than usual to stop bleeding, and they may bleed more easily when treated with Rivaroxaban. Also, patients are instructed to inform their dentist if they are taking Rivaflo before any dental procedures.
