Ropark is a prescription medicine for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. It is also effective in treating moderate to severe primary restless legs. The active ingredient Ropinirole treats and relives the symptoms of both RLS and Parkinson’s disease. Your doctor may prescribe it alone or with other medication to treat Parkinson’s disease. It helps to improve your ability to move and decrease the episodes of shakiness, unsteadiness, slowed movement, and stiffness.
You should not take Ropark 0.25 mg if you are allergic to the active ingredient Ropinirole or any other ingredients in the medicine. The symptoms of an allergic reaction include hives, itching, and swelling of face, throat, tongue and mouth. If you witness any of these reactions, you should not take Ropinirole until you speak to your doctor. While receiving the anti- Parkinson’s medicine, you may fall asleep while doing daily activities like driving, using mixer grinder, or using hazardous machinery work. What can be more harmful is that you can fall asleep without being drowsy or without indication. Your chances of falling asleep are greater when you take Ropark tablet with other medicines. Fainting can happen and, in some cases, your heart rate may be decreased. This is more likely to happen during the initial doses of the medicine. Most people who take Ropark 0.25 mg tolerate it well. Some may witness side effects while taking Ropirinole for RLS and these include sleepiness, dizziness, vomiting, and drowsiness.
