Theo Asthalin Forte is a combination of Theophylline and salbutamol, which belongs to the class of drugs known as anti-asthmatics. It helps manage chronic conditions of the respiratory system, including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Asthma is when the airway narrows, swells, and produces extra mucus, leading to breathing problems. COPD is a group of lung disorders with chronic bronchitis (inflammation of bronchial tubes) and emphysema (shortness of breath). Initially, the symptoms may be mild, but over time they may lead to total blockage of airways and damage the lungs in severe lungs.
Theo Asthalin forte helps manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by causing relaxation and widening the narrowed or blocked airways in the lungs, making breathing easier. The combination of salbutamol and Theophylline are effective at treating an asthma attack that first starts induced by factors like cold and exercise.
