Some medicines, when taken along with Alcoliv Tablet, may increase or decrease the activity of the drug. Hence, sharing the list of medicines you are currently taking with your doctor is advisable to avoid drug interaction.

Things to remember:

   —  Never share your medicine with other patients, even if they have the same symptoms as yours,

   —  The medicine must be stored at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.

   —  Use the medicine only for the purpose for which it has been prescribed and not for any other purpose.

Do not take the drug if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to the main ingredient of the medicine. Also, inform your doctor if you are suffering from any other ailments.

Some of the common side effects of the medicine include:

  — Loose motion

  — Skin rash

  — Numbness

  — Sleepiness

  — Diarrhoea

This is not a complete list of side effects that may happen. There may be other side effects as well. If the side effects persist for a long, you must consult your doctor.

Your doctor will fix the recommended dose after examining you thoroughly. The dosage mainly depends on weight, age, the condition's severity, treatment response, and drug interaction. The tablet needs to be taken orally with a glass of water. It is to be taken with food.

You must take medicine for the entire prescribed period. It is advisable not to stop in between and consult your doctor if you experience any discomfort during treatment.
