Buy Melalite XL 15gm Cream for Acne Treatment

Melalite XL is a clinically proven combination of hydroquinone, tretinoin, and mometasone. This association has demonstrated its effectiveness and safety in patients with moderate to severe melasma. Melalite XL is advised to be used as a short-term treatment option for treating mild-to-moderate melasma skin issues. It reduces signs, blemishes, marks, and dark circles under the eyes. This formulation should always be combined with sun-avoidance measures by using good quality sunscreen lotion and wearing protective clothing (full-sleeved shirts and a wide-brimmed hat).

Hydroquinone remains the most prescribed bleaching agent and is the gold standard for treating hyperpigmentation. Tretinoin acts on different levels: It facilitates pigment removal by accelerating skin cell turnover, enhances hydroquinone penetration through the skin, and protects from oxidation. The introduction of a mometasone (corticosteroid) is aimed at reducing inflammation as a side effect of both tretinoin and hydroquinone, but it also inhibits melanocyte metabolism.

Precautions (Things to remember, allergies, and warnings)

Please inform your dermatologist if you are allergic to the active ingredient of this formulation, like hydroquinone, mometasone, or tretinoin. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning for pregnancy, it is advised to take your physician's advice. Also, the triple combination product is not advised for children below the age of 12 years. Do not apply this combination cream on wounds or ulcerated skin. Avoid sun exposure while you use Melalite XL, as it may make your skin more sensitive to UV rays and cause sunburn. Do wear protective clothing and sunscreen while stepping out to protect your skin from sunburn to protect from sunlight.

The product is not recommended for children under twelve years of age. Do not apply this medication to ulcerated skin or wounds. Avoid sun exposure completely while using Melilite XL cream. Do not smoke or reach near naked flame, as whatever fabric comes in contact with the product catches fire and burns easily. If you have a sulfite allergy, asthma, rosacea, skin thinning, acne, genital itching, cold sores, chickenpox, warts, ulcerated skin, perioral dermatitis, diabetes, chickenpox, shingles, eczema, shingles or any other skin problem, inform your health care provider before you use Melalite XL.

Melalite will not be more effective if overused. Overusing the medicine can cause too much to be absorbed in the body, weakening and thinning of the skin, and other severe side effects. If you experience increased severity of the symptoms, speak to your dermatologist for re-evaluation.

How to use it? (infographics and instructions)

For best results, follow your dermatologist's directions. Apply the medicine thinly and in sufficient quantity to cover the affected areas. Usually, treatment begins from the lowest dose, as every patient's case is different. The dosage can be different based on the condition, route of administration, patient's age, and medical history.

The triple combination medicine is usually applied two or three times daily to the affected areas of the skin. Apply a thin layer and massage it gently until your skin completely absorbs the cream, once daily during bedtime. Initial improvement may be seen in just two weeks; complete results generally appear within 2 to 3 months of regular use. Avoid applying this cream on infected and broken skin areas. Don't continue the treatment if you experience skin allergy or irritation; discuss it with your dermatologist. This formulation should not be used for longer, i.e., 6 to 8 weeks, unless your dermatologist advises it. Reach your dermatologist if the skin condition does not improve after 2 to 3 months of treatment with melalite XL.

What are the uses of Melalite XL cream?

Melalite XL cream is a dermatologically recommended topical medication used to treat hyperpigmentation and melasma. It effectively lightens dark patches by reducing excessive melanin production and improving overall skin texture and clarity. When used as directed by the dermatologist, it promotes a clearer, brighter and even complexion.

What skin condition does Melalite XL 15 gm treat?

Melalite XL 15 gm is specifically designed to treat melasma, also known as chloasma or the mask of pregnancy. It is a common pigmentary condition characterised by mostly symmetrical brown patches that develop on the face and, occasionally, the forearms and back.

What is the composition of Melalite XL?

Melalite XL is a combination of three medicines — hydroquinone, mometasone, and tretinoin — to treat dark spots on the skin. Hydroquinone is a skin-lightening medication which reduces the amount of melanin (skin pigment) that causes darkening of the skin.  Mometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers that make the skin red, itchy and swollen. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that helps the skin renew itself more quickly.

How long does it take to work?

In general, visible improvement appears after 4 to 6 weeks of consistent usage, but results may vary from person to person. Continue using the medication as instructed by the dermatologist, even if you do not see results. If you develop any severe redness, irritation, or peeling, discontinue treatment and consult your dermatologist.

Can Melalite XL be safe for long-term use?

Melalit XL should not be used for a prolonged period unless prescribed by a dermatologist, as it contains a steroid. Be sure to rinse your hands before and after applying the cream.

Can Melalite XL 15 gm cream be used for acne scars?

Melalite XL 15 mg is a prescription treatment for pigmentation and dark spots. But it may also help to reduce the appearance of mild acne scars. However, this melasma medication is not a specified treatment for acne scars. Consult your dermatologist to find an appropriate treatment for acne scars.

What precautions should be taken while using Melalite XL cream?

Melalite XL cream should not be applied near the eyes, cut, abraded or sunburned skin.  While using the prescription treatment for melasma, avoid using sunscreen during the daytime to protect your skin from UV damage. Avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen during the day to protect your skin from ultraviolet rays.

What are the side effects of Melalite XL cream?

Common side effects of Melalite XL cream include itching, irritation, a burning sensation, and redness at the application site. Consult your dermatologist if any of these side effects worsen or don’t improve.
