Nucoxia 120 mg is an anti-inflammatory pain killer medicine used to ease pain and swelling associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and ankylosing spondylitis. It contains Etoricoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It works by blocking cyclo-oxygenase-2 (Cox-2), a naturally occurring in the body. It also works by increasing the pain threshold and preventing the release of prostaglandins. Etoricoxib blocks the effect of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause pain and inflammation. It is safe and well-tolerated by the users during long term administration.
The anti-inflammatory drug is potentially unsafe to use during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, high blood pressure, stomach ulcers, kidney, or liver disease.

These include aspirin, clopidogrel, dipyridamole, dexamethasone, methotrexate, furosemide, heparin, lithium, warfarin, prednisolone, and rifampicin. The most common side effects of the medicine are gastrointestinal discomfort.
