Vitamins, antacids, mineral supplements, and other medications (magnesium, aluminium, calcium, and iron) can stop your body from absorbing or using Risofos. These medications may be consumed at a different time of day than Risedronate.
Risofos 150 mg may cause problems in your oesophagus, stomach, and intestines, including ulcers. If you find difficulty swallowing, chest pain, heartburn, and black or bloody stools, stop taking the medication and tell your doctor immediately. In clinical trials, the most commonly reported side effects were nausea, heartburn, and abdominal pain.
Risofos is available as a daily or weekly tablet. Most people take it as a weekly tablet.
