Theo Asthalin may cause dizziness, so do not drive and indulge in activities requiring complete attention. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking medicine.

Inform your doctor if:

   — You are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

   — Mention all prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and other prescribed drugs.

   — Do not begin taking a new medication without telling your doctor. Drinking or eating foods with caffeine, like tea, coffee, cocoa, and chocolate, may increase the risk of side effects associated with Theo Asthalin medicine. The combination drug should be taken cautiously for blood pressure medicines like propranolol. Consumption of alcohol should be avoided as it may cause worsening symptoms. Sudden discontinuation of the drug may lead to withdrawal symptoms and unwanted effects. Salbutamol/Theophylline may cause an increase in the uric acid, so close monitoring of the uric acid level is required. It should not be given for hypersensitivity, liver impairment, high blood pressure, irregular heart rhythm, diabetes, pulmonary edema, heart failure, and history of peptic ulcer and seizures.

   — Taking medicines for depression.

The product is not recommended for use in infants, pregnancy, and lactation.     

Common side effects of Theo Asthalin include headache, nausea, tremors, palpitations, muscle cramps, cough, nervousness, weakness, drowsiness, dizziness, respiratory tract infection, stomach upset, tremors, palpitations, and restlessness. Most of these side effects are temporary and usually resolve with time. Speak to your doctor immediately if you are concerned about any side effects.

Use Theo Asthalin tablets as per prescription. Swallow the pill whole with a glass full of water without chewing, crushing, or breaking the tablet. You should not take this medicine on your own. Let your doctor know about this, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms. You should not take this medicine if you have lung disease, muscle weakness, severe liver impairment, sleeping disorders, difficulty sleeping or drinking alcohol. Theo Asthalin is a habit-forming drug, so there is a risk of dependence on this medicine. Before stopping this medication, contact your doctor, as it may cause withdrawal symptoms like tremors, increased heart rate, or generally unwell.
