Breakfast is the most important meal in your entire day. After having your dinner, the previous night, you have your breakfast after almost 8 to 10 hours and your breakfast is the only source of energy that your body can utilize. It’s supposed to be your first meal of the day and it needs to be nutritious enough and filling enough to get you through your entire day and keep you fresh and active.
Reasons not to skip the deliciously good breakfast are right below:

For people who are trying to lose weight, if you think skipping your breakfast is going to help you do that, you are wrong! Skipping breakfast adds to your weight, since you miss one meal and eat double in the second one. Besides, you can have a heavy breakfast and a light lunch to balance it out, but never miss your first meal!

Preparing meals for the whole family, doing house work and other chores, moms should ideally be the first ones to have breakfast since they need the energy to kick start their day, so that they can work and make us start our day! To all the mommies, eat well and never miss out on breakfast!

While at work, the mind consumers the energy in the body. If you hadn’t had a fulfilling breakfast, you will feel hungry only after a few hours of having your breakfast. This in turn will make you add on extra calories that you could have avoided had you taken your breakfast properly. Also, you will feel lethargic, disinterested and your mind won’t work towards completing the work. Don’t pile up on extra calories; just eat your breakfast properly! Some of the effects of a skipped breakfast include short attention span, lack of alertness, longer reaction time needed, low blood sugar and overall decreased work productivity. Over a longer period of time if you get used to skipping your breakfast you might lose out on essential minerals and vitamins that are need for your bone strength.
6. If not in the mood to eat, you can drink it too
That’s the beauty of a breakfast. You can have anything and everything in a breakfast. Right from eggs, juice, fruits to smoothies. On days when you don’t feel like consuming solids, try the liquids or the semi-liquids at least. They give you a satiated feel and you don’t have to make much effort to eat them, they just pass by easily. Have fresh fruit juices or smoothies in the morning is fulfilling and a tasty treat.
