Eye care tips

Dark Circles

Dark circles are a common problem faced by most people. However, there are many natural eye care tips, which help in reducing these dark circles that can make your eyes appear nasty and fatigued. A sure-shot solution for dark circles is placing cool tea bags over closed eyes. Another solution would be to dip cotton balls in chilled water and place them on your eyes for five to ten minutes. Cucumber is known to be a natural coolant for eyes. You can place two slices over your eyes for sometime or even dip cotton pads in cucumber juice and place them over your eyelids. In addition, try applying cotton balls soaked in rose water on your eyes for 15 minutes to lighten the dark circles.

Sunken Eyes

Usually tiredness can lead to sunken eyes though it is also considered to be an illusion when you have dark circles. A mixture of honey and almond oil can prove to be an amazing solution for sunken eyes. All you need to do is mix a teaspoon of honey with half a teaspoon of almond oil and apply over your eyes at bedtime. Ensure you also eat five soaked almonds and drink milk later for better results.

Puffy Eyes

Some people tend to get red and swollen eyes when they wake up in the morning. Are you one of them whose eyes appear as if you have been crying all night? If yes, then you’ve got to try this! A very simple solution for puffy eyes is to place a spoon that has been kept in the fridge for sometime on your eyes. This reduces puffiness in a very short time. You can also use a cold compress made out of cold water or ice cubes and place them over your eyes repeating it till the puffiness drains out. In addition, you can try placing a tea bag wrapped in a tissue over your eyes to help get rid of puffiness. This method works because tea contains tannins which is a natural astringent that reduces puffiness and make your eyes appear fresh.
