Raw potatoes have a strong bleaching power. The easiest ways to use raw potatoes to remove dark circles under eyes are:
• Take a chilled potato and mash it up in a blender. Then put the mashed potato on your eyelids and around eyes where dark circles are prominent. Leave it for ten minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.
• Another easier way is to cut a chilled raw potato into thick slices and place the slices on each eye. Leave the slices for a few minutes. Repeat the process for a few days until you get the desired results.
Cucumber has strong astringent and skin lightening properties. You can use the chilled cucumber slices to place on your eyelids and relax for a few minutes. Wash off with water. Cucumber is a great skin toner and its regular use on the eyes can remove the dark circles and make the skin more toned.
3. Rose water:
Rose water offers incredible skin toning and lightening properties. It is one of the easiest and the cheapest methods to remove the under eye dark circles. You can buy a bottle of purified rose water and dip two cotton balls in it. Then place the rose water dipped cotton balls on each of your closed eyelids and left it there for at least 10 minutes. Following this regimen daily can bring a great change and will significantly remove the dark circle under eyes.
Tomato is another skin lightening agent. Use the tomato paste or juice and spread it on your face or the dark circle prominent area. Allow to sit the mixture for a few minutes and then gently rinse off with cold water. If you follow this beauty regimen daily for a few weeks, you will surely notice a remarkable change in the under dark eye circles.
5. Almond oil/ coconut oil:
These two oils are rich in vitamin e and hence they are very useful. You can massage the oil on the affected area as it not only lighten the skin, but it will also reduce the fine lines on the face also.
6. Lemon juice:
Lemon juice has tremendous skin lightening properties. Take a bowl of lemon juice and then dip a cotton ball into it. Now rub the cotton ball dipped in lemon juice on the affected area and leave it there for a few minutes. Then wash off with warm water. Repeat the process daily till you get the desired results.
Turmeric is known for ages for its medicinal and skin benefitting properties. It has both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. You can thus use Turmeric for removing dark circles under eyes. For this, you can make a paste of a teaspoon of Turmeric with few drops of apple juice. Apply this paste of turmeric on the affected area and leave it to dry for about ten minutes. Then you can wash it off or wipe it out with a damp cloth.

8. Cold water/milk:
These two things works wonders to constrict the blood vessels under eyes and relax the area. You can use a cotton ball dipped in cold water or cold milk and place it on the closed eyelids. Place it directly on the eyelids for about 5-7 minutes. Instead, you can also use other chilled products like frozen peas, a cold spoon or even ice cubes wrapped in a towel and place it on the eyelids.
