Male pattern baldness can be embarrassing and affect one’s self esteem. The condition is defined as the complete or partial loss of hair. There are several home remedies for baldness.
Almost 70% men in the world today suffer from male pattern baldness. The chief cause of baldness can be due to male sex hormones or genetic factors. The hairline recedes gradually and the hair becomes thinner and finer. There are certain home remedies to help tackle the issue. Here are some home remedies for baldness.
1. Coconut milk and oil
This is one of the best home remedies to take care of hair loss and baldness on the scalp.
To use, apply a mixture of amla oil, coconut oil and some lemon juice on your scalp and leave it there for some time. Wash off after 20 minutes. This will help you to fight dandruff, heal your scalp and prevent hair fall. It will also help nourish the hair.
2. Fenugreek seeds and oil
Fry some fenugreek seeds in coconut oil for few minutes. Strain the mixture and apply it on the head. Rub gently in circular motion so that the oil can reach the roots of the hair. Massaging the hair at least two or three times a week with this mixture can be very good for the hair.
3. Massage with regular oils
Massaging the scalp and hair with warm basic oils such as almond oil, coconut oil or olive oil will help stimulate the hair follicles and help get rid of dandruff.
To use, take some hair oil and warm it, apply it on your hair and scalp. Massage in gentle circular motion for around 15 minutes before washing off with a mild shampoo. Do this at least twice a week to prevent baldness.
4. Henna leaves
Henna has long been used to treat male pattern baldness.
To use, boil some henna leaves in mustard oil. Let the mixture cool and mix this with a regular hair oil. Apply the mix on the scalp two to three times a week to see noticeable results within a short span of time.
